Terms and Conditions

LYLE Box Express will commit to provide our customers air freight and sea freight transport services for packages and/or documents from Miami to Panama at the mentioned rates below.

 

  1. Air Freight*:

  • 0-1 lb - $2.60 Fixed.​

  • 1-15 lbs - $2.45/lb

  • >15lbs - $2.25/lb

​   2. Sea Freight**:

  • $6.50/ft3  +  OPTIONAL Door to Door $1.00/lb.

 

*The bill will be calculated taking in consideration only the real weight of the package without adding the volumetric weight.

**The bill will be calculated taking in consideration the volumetric weight. The real weight charge is added to the bill if the customer wants us to transport the merchandise from the port to our warehouse. If the customer prefers to pick up the merchandise at the port and be responsable for the expenses him/herself then the charges for the real weight of the merchandise will not be included in the bill.

The customer needs to consider always that the weight shown in the online websites (on its majority) corresponds to the merchandise without considering the packing weight/dimensión.

- Customer authorizes NELCON CARGOS to open any package as a measurement of control/check-up/compliance with the purpose of the package to be compliant with the norms and regulations necessary for its transport between United States of America and Panama.

- For Dangerous Cargo (Explosives, Gases, Flammable Solids and Liquids, Oxidant, Toxic or Infectious Substances, Radioactive Materials and Corrosives) there will be and additional charge of $350.00 USD per shipment.

- The Customer will receive a Personal Code and a postal address in Miami which he/she will use to make his/hers purchases. The Customer is responsible for paying all transactions made on his/hers personal account and in the case he/she shares his/hers personal account with another person, a written authorization should be notified to LYLE Box Express. The Customer understands that every Bill will be on his/hers name and not on the name of the different people him/her is sharing his/hers account with. Therefore, all consequences and obligations of this contract are exclusive responsibility of the Customer. LYLE Box Express will have no legal responsibility, besides the Customer.

- I authorize LYLE Box Express to be my reception agent once my package (s) is received in Panamá.

- It is the Customer’s responsibility to clearly indicate his/her Name, Personal Code and correct Postal Address given by LYLE Box Express on the moment the purchase is done to avoid any delays or loss of the merchandise.

LYLE Box Express will not be responsible if the package (s) has been returned or lost by the post office services in the United States due to wrong submitted address or insufficient information.

- The Client may not attempt or establish any type of claim or legal proceeding against LYLE BOX EXPRESS, for any reason without previously making a formal claim to LYLE BOX EXPRESS in writing, with no less than 30 business days notice, in order for LYLE Box Express to carry out the necessary inquiries in order to repair or correct as far as possible the reason for the claim.

- I understand that packages ordered through LYLE BOX EXPRESS can be picked up in the following ways:

  • Delivered to your residence / office for a low additional cost established depending on the area.

  • Picked up at the main office located in River Valley, Panama Pacifico.

*Customers who have canceled their invoice before receiving the package will have priority at the time of making Deliveries.

The Customer is responsible for staying at his Residence or Office the day and time of the delivery confirmation, he may also authorize an extra person to receive and/or pay for the service. If these options are not met, the package will be scheduled for the next available delivery day. If the previous point occurs again, the customer must pick up the package at the main office in Panama Pacifico. Each delivery made without completion due to the Customer or person authorized failure to receive the package will be billed at the time of receiving/picking up the package.

Once the package is delivered to the Customer (or person assigned by the Customer) the invoice has to be paid in full and the receipt signed as received, otherwise your package will remain on hold until the invoice is canceled. LYLE BOX EXPRESS will not be responsible for any damage that is caused to the package after it is received by the Customer.

LYLE BOX EXPRESS will not be responsible for the loss, damage or theft of packages that were asked to be dropped off at checkpoints or receptions, you must also sent us a written authorization for your package to be delivered in one of these.

- I understand that LYLE BOX EXPRESS will only accept the following forms of payment:

o   Wire Transfers.

o   Yappy +60626967.

o   Cash at delivery or pick up of the package (s)

*We don’t accept check of any sort.

*Every invoice has to be paid in full.

Every invoice must be paid in full at the moment the package is received/picked up or before, when you receive the notification with the invoice.

Confirmation of payment must be sent via email or whatsapp.

- The Customer will receive by email or whatsapp any promotion by LYLE BOX EXPRESS. Also, information about accumulating points for discount coupons and free deliveries.

- Shipments made by Air transport with more than 30 days after the Customer has received his notification with the invoice and that it has not been canceled and/or claimed by the client, will have an additional surcharge for storage as follows:

o   30 to 45 days - 15% additional to the invoice value.

o   45 to 60 days - 20% additional to the invoice value. 

o   60 to 75 days - 25% additional to the invoice value. 

o   75 to 90 days - 30% additional to the invoice value. 

After 90 days, the package will be discarded and considered abandoned without any responsibility for LYLE BOX EXPRESS.

Shipments made by sea freight with more than 5 days after being received in the warehouse and whose invoice has not been canceled and/or claimed by the customer, will have an additional surcharge for storage as follows:

o  $0.50 USD for each Cubic Foot (ft³) for each day after the first 5 days of receiving the package at the Warehouse.

After 90 days, the package will be discarded and considered abandoned without any responsibility for LYLE BOX EXPRESS.

- Each package transported will be insured (up to $150.00) from the moment it arrives at the address in Miami until it is received at the Warehouse in Panama. LYLE BOX EXPRESS will be responsible for the transport from the Warehouse to your residence or office.

- Customers are advised to request an insurance through LYLE Box Express for high value packages (at the customer's discretion). Notify us via whatsapp or email in such case to provide you with more details.

- Each shipment done by Air or Sea Freight that exceeds the value of $2,500.00 USD will have an additional cost of $15.00 in your invoice since it requires a form (Shipper's Export Declaration Form) procedure required by the United States government for each merchandise exported from the Country.

- In the event that the Customer receives by mistake a package that is not designated to him/her, immediately inform LYLE BOX EXPRESS and keep the package in the same condition in which it was received. In the event of opening the package and damaging its content, the Customer agrees to cancel its total value (taxes and transport included).

- LYLE BOX EXPRESS recommends not to use the USPS (United States Post Services) service as they are unreliable in making deliveries and make mistakes very often.

- LYLE BOX EXPRESS has the right to terminate a Customer's account, if he/she  personally or any of the authorized persons of the account incur in the following actions:

o   Unduly use the service, whether for contravening ethics, morals and/or US or Panamanian legislation.

o   If, individually or jointly, offenses or insults are uttered against the representatives and/or workers of LYLE BOX EXPRESS in bodily, verbal or written form.

o   If, according to the individual requirements or needs of the Customer, these result in impossibility of compliance for LYLE BOX EXPRESS in accordance with the service standards.

- LYLE BOX EXPRESS may modify its rates and/or delivery services when it deems necessary, but not without first notifying its Customers by email or via whatsapp.
